We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2018, at the age of 86, Meta Jo Spurrier (Owensboro, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William H. Spurrier; and her sisters, Janis Greene and Jane Miller. She is survived by: her children, Jane Nishimori of Owensboro, Ryon Nishimori of Nashville and Jim Spurrier (Lisa) of McLean County; and her grandchildren, James Spurrier Jr. (Meghan), Amber Hall (Johnny), Brienna Meffert of San Jose, Jolene Spurrier and Jessalyn Spurrier.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to United Way of the Ohio Valley, 403 Park Plaza Dr, Owensboro, KY 42301.
