We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2021, at the age of 67, Melissa Elaine Horton of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustie Goodman and Wilma Knight Goodman; her daughter Mellany Horton; and her siblings, Jessie Goodman and Mary Ann Asbury.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff Horton (Jill) and Tiffany Lindsey (Gary); her grandchildren, Lacey (Isaac), Garrett Blake (Caila), Dylan, Kathryn, Jakob, Bailee, Mason, Cooper, Mellany K., Alissa, Taylor and Cullen; her sister Lila Darlene "Dolly" Goodman; her husband Rodney Horton; her great grandchild Tucker; her siblings, Penny Blandford (Tim) and Larry Goodman; and her close friend Sheila Murphy. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
