She is survived by: her son James E. Higginbotham, Jr. (Teresa); her stepson Joseph Whitehouse (Terri); her grandsons, James Higginbotham, III (Susan) and Aaron Higginbotham (Katy); and her stepgranddaughters, Rebecca Johnson, Ashley Creviston (Lee) and Alicia Bell (Robert).
