She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Hinson; her husband Anthony Eugene Hurm; and her siblings, Opal Bryant, James Higdon and Anthony Wayne Higdon.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila McCollam of Owensboro, Rebecca Dunn (Curtis) of Evansville, Anthony Wayne Hurm of Owensboro and Randall Eugene Hurm (Lesa) of Owensboro; and her siblings, Clara Harvey of Reo, Martha Decker of Rockport, JoAnn Higdon of Christney, Indiana, Joe Higdon of Rockport, Billy Higdon of Rockport and Ernest "Bugs" Higdon of Newman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
