He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Goetz and Anna Mae Hinsey Goetz; his wife Mary Elizabeth Goetz; and his siblings, Barbara Lashbrook, Herman Goetz and Loretta Johnston.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Goetz and John Goetz (Bobbie Oldham); his stepson Buddy Lyons (Heather); his grandsons, Jacob Lyons and Lucas Lyons; and his siblings, Frances Gaddis, Eileen Fulkerson (Joe), Linda Powers and Mike Goetz (Sue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
