We bid farewell to Martin Cravens of Owensboro, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 2, 2024 at the age of 87. Martin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Cravens and Gertrude Payne Cravens; his wife Jane Wooldridge Cravens; his daughter Kay Cravens; his son-in-law David Boarman; and his children, Thomas Gerald and Christina.
He is survived by: his children, Starla Cravens (Rho), Marty Cravens (Sally), Sheila Hopewell (Lee) and Joe Cravens (Brandy); his grandchildren, Ryan, Hugh (Samantha), Josh (Miranda), Leah, Kayleigh, Justin Cravens, Ross (Jordan), Luke Boarman, Christina Ambs (Keaton) and Anslee Hopewell; and his great grandchildren, Mazie, Owen, Thomas, Jaycee, Sophia, James Riley, Gatlin and Isla.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (4029 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel (5404 KY-54, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
