She was predeceased by: her father James Tillman Hawkins; her daughter Peggy Rice Hicks; and her siblings, Billie Jean Cauley, Maurice Hawkins and James Fredrick Hawkins.
She is survived by: her son Dwayne Rice (Peggy) of Owensboro; and her grandchildren, Courtney Najdek of Hendersonville, NC, Travis Hicks (Bettie) of Evansville, Brittany Weems of Conyers, GA, Brandy Miles of Owensboro and Robert Rice (Sarah) of Butler, KY. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren with another on the way; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
