She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester H. Kruger and Louise Newman Kruger; her husband John L. Carter; her brother Louis Kruger; and her granddaughter Natalie Spinks.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Basham (Butch) of Owensboro, Mitzi Finn of Illinois, Greg Carter (Sandy) of Owensboro and Becky Roberts (Rick) of Maceo; her grandchildren, Brooke Jaycox (Dominick) of Illinois, Ashley Phillips (Mike) of Owensboro, Adam Reynolds (Allison) of Louisville, Madalyn Roberts of Maceo and Brooklynn Williams (Riley) of Bowling Green; and her great grandchildren, Laura Cate, Audrey, Ezra, Sybil and Mack.
