She was predeceased by: her father Orville Sloan; her husband Luther B Rose, Jr.; her siblings, Faye, Jane and Doug; her son-in-law Wayne Whitsett; and her niece Karla Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Rose (Melissa) of Tullahooma, TN, Becky Maxwell (Lonnie) of Ocala, FL and Beth Whitsett of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Justin Durham (Amy), Josh Rose (Amanda), Mallory Cox (Adam), Sarah Dulin (Joel) and Jeremy Whitsett; her great grandchildren, Ava Durham, Ryan Durham and Joseph Dulin; and her close friends, Don and Mary Weaver. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and amazing and supportive neighbors.
