It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Acree (Owensboro, Kentucky), born in Greensburg, Kentucky, who passed away on August 26, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Paul Sanders; her daughter Mary Beth Hammond; her granddaughter Erica Trujillo; and her sisters, Lelia Penick, Mary Lucy Slinker, Dorothy Carle and Helen Lyons.
She is survived by: her parent Mary Louise Coffey Sanders; her husband Edwin Ray Acree of Owensboro; her sons-in-law, Donna Harley, Jim Harley of Owensboro, Marlies Wagner, George Wagner of Pennsylvania and Joe Hammond of Elizabethtown; her grandchildren, James Harley, Jr., Autumn Barron, Shawn Trujillo, Olivia Trujillo, Kayla Hammond Honaker, Emily Hammond and Brianne Hammond Reed; her great grandchildren, Peyton Harley Nix, Jake Harley, Will Barron, Ben Barron, Maddie Barron, Bella Honaker, Brantley Honaker and Cole Honaker; and her great great grandchild Raylen Harley. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Greensburg Baptist Church, which can be made at the Church or the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.
