She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Markwell and Trudy Tucker Markwell; her former husband Glyndal Martin; her husband Ray Whaley; her close friend Charlie Basham; her son Keith DeWayne Martin; and her siblings, Hollis Markwell, Jimmy Markwell, Ottis Markwell and Genola Ford.
