She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Mary Josephine Thompson Gaw; her husband Anthony Joseph Cox; her children, Tony Cox Jr. and Kay Norris; and her siblings, Bill Gaw, George Gaw, Charles Gaw, Gerald Gaw, J. Richard Gaw and Dorothy Gaw Hudson.

She is survived by: her children, Lemoine Amos (Keith) of Maitland, FL, Vicki Cox of Owensboro and Craig Cox of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Mark Lewis of Owensboro and Cassie Norris Ratliff (Jay) of Lexington; and her great grandchild Amelia Ratliff of Lexington.
