He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland O. Pirtle and Elsie Spickard Pirtle Coursey; and his grandson Zachary Tyler Warren. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Susan (Craig); his granddaughters, Sarah and Megan; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney (Doug), Brittany (Jason) and James (Kara); his brother Lanny (Alice); his half-siblings, Sherri (Therman) and Jason; his stepsister Joanne; his nieces, Janet, Karen (Ted) and Sharron; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Evan, Owen and Sabine; and his cousins, Charlotte (Bob) and Bretta.
