She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Oscar Daugherty and Anna Mae Gootee Daugherty; her husband Ben Howard Chaney; and her siblings, Mary Catherine Bayles, Robert Eugene Daugherty, Lelia Ward Merritt, Betty Lee Estes and Danny Francis Daugherty.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Embry (Dennis) and Keith Wayne Stewart; her grandchildren, Thomas (Persy), Cody (Bethany), Stormy (Amber), Shannon, Rebecca, Shawnee, Cheyenne and Lakota; her sister Elizabeth Ann Moore; her niece Sandy Ball; and her pet Niki. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
