She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Lee Swope Nalbach and Walter Bernard Nalbach; and her husband Dr. Duval Bushong. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Straub (Louis) and Benjamin Duval Bushong (Denise); her grandchildren, Madeline, Anna Claire Straub, Audrey Bushong and William Duval Bushong II; her stepgranddaughter Lauren Denton; and her caregivers, Lisa, Lorene and Rhonda.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Good Samaritan Fund at Settle Memorial United Methodist Church or the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden.
