She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Levi Bowlds and Muriel May Nesmith Bowlds; her husband Billy Dean Bivens; her sons, Mark and Christopher Bivens; and her sister Sandra Lee DeLacey.
She is survived by: her daughter Tracy Bivens; her grandsons, Isaiah Malachi of Owensboro and Aaron "A. J." Carbon of Owensboro; her sister Joyce Simpson; her niece Robin Singletary; her friend Debbie Frey; and her caregiver Susan Cure.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
