He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas Evans and Dorothy Doom; and his sister Jean Bertram. He is survived by: his wife Linda Seneff Evans; his children, Phillip L. Evans, Printha Horlander (Tony), Robbie Fortner, Scooter Fortner (Juanita), Michael Maddox (Mary Catherine) and Eurel Maddox (Erica); his grandchildren, Leah Evans, Ethan Fortner, Noah and Caleb Horlander; and his siblings, Richard Evans (LaVeta), Joseph Evans, Phyllis Ayers Buchanan (David) and Sharon Young. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
