She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rearden and Eva Rearden; her husband Clyde Smiley; and her siblings, Shirley Jean, Mike Rearden and Anne Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Lana; her son-in-law Eric Dryer; her grandchildren, Courtney of Charlotte and Brad Dryer of Charlotte; and her siblings, Betty Hoover of Hartford, Earlene Haynes (Johnny) of Columbus, Georgia, Lydia Phelps (Chester) of Owensboro, Paul Rearden of Hartford and E. J. Rearden (Bettie) of Owensboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
