With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena Best Lovan of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Best and Katie Lea Best; her husband Alfred Lovan; and her siblings, Edward Best, Walter "Mick" Best, Miriam Rouse and Dorothy Berry.

She is survived by: her children, Ron Lovan (Susan) of Union, KY, Ken Lovan (Alice) of Bowling Green, KY and Sarah Baldridge (Dave) of Tarpon Springs, FL; her grandchildren, Austin Lovan (Cara) of Houston, Charlie Lovan, Dash (Jenna) of Austin, Katie Kluge (Frank) of Riviera Beach, FL, Ben Baldridge (Joanna) of Spartanburg, SC, Andy Baldridge of Tampa, FL and Jenny Knott (Jason) of Dunedin, FL; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Banks, Beckett Baldridge of Spartanburg, SC, Micah, Eli Knott of Dunedin, FL and Oliver Lovan of Austin, TX; and her siblings, George "Bud" Best, Richard "Dick" Best, Jerry Best, Helen Lieb and Jean Ann Griffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid concerns, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
