He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Taylor and Gertrude Mattingly Pagan; his siblings, Lois Marie Taylor and Joe Payne; and his stepbrother Barry Pagan.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lennon Taylor; his son Patrick Taylor of Brooklyn, NY; his siblings, Linda Ranburger (Steve) of Owensboro, KY, Lanita Robertson (Ron) of Owensboro, KY, Lisa Morris (Keith) of Whitesville, KY, Paul Payne (Karen) of Knottsville and Russell Payne (Judy) of Owensboro; his sister-in-law Diane Payne of Alberdeen, MD; and his stepsiblings, Susan Nail and David Pagan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
