He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Towery and Mary Louis Stallings Towery; and his sisters, Angela Neely and Betty Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rose Towery; his children, Joseph Owen Towery (Christal), Rebecca Lynn Wandell (Lorne) and Sarah Elizabeth Vance (Jeff); his grandchildren, Cassidy Faith and Stephen Owen Towery; and his siblings, James Donald Towery (Susan) of St. Joseph and Rachel Whitaker (Hugh) of Owensboro.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Renovation Fund of Blessed Mother Catholic Church, 601 E. 23rd.
