He was predeceased by: his father Joe Harrel; his grandson Carmen Spencer; and his brother Jimmy Dale Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Tracy M. Hamilton Kirby; his children, Samuel Joseph Hamilton (Christie) of Owensboro and Tammie Spencer of Owensboro; his sisters, Faye Rickard of Madisonville, KY and Wanda Blackwell of Dixon, KY; his grandchildren, Joseph Michael Korfhage, Jacob Alexander Hamilton, Kyle Spencer, Anthony Spencer, Jorga Michelle Hamilton, Hannah Long (Christopher) and Haley Spencer; and his great grandchildren, Kamryn, Karter, Hazel, Brayden and Kaislee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
