He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bill Burris and Marian Brown Fentress; his stepfather Mervil Fentress; and his grandparents, Gobel, Evelyn Brown, Beckham and Ida Jane Wright Fentress.
He is survived by: his wife Vivan Sue Burris; his children, Bryan Burris and Deborah Burris; his siblings, Dennis Fentress, Connie Carlisle and Linda West; his brothers-in-law, Russel West and Mitchell Pearl (Renee); his brother Donald Brown; and his aunts, Iris Brown and Sue Sublett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
