He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Knott and Nellie Elizabeth Dunbar Knott; and his sister Mary Catherine Knott. He is survived by: his close friend Kathy McCarty; and his siblings, Barbara Roberts (Stanley), Joe Knott (Paula Kaye) and Jeff Knott (Rhonda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
