He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward, Jr. Bishop and Mary Margaret Bishop; his grandson Cody Brahm; and his brothers, Durward and David.

He is survived by: his wife Darylin Sue Bishop; his children, Clara Margaret "Meg" Bishop of Owensboro and Larry Anthony, Jr.; his granddaughters, Hannah McGehee (Dalton) and Monica Hughes; his great grandchildren, Norah, Wyatt, Aiden of Owensboro, Taylor, Austin and Charlotte of Tell City, IN; his siblings, Mary Priar (Jeff) of Owensboro, Dana Bishop of Owensboro, Gary Bishop (Kathy) of Owensboro, Roger Bishop (Pam) of Owensboro and Dr. Alex Bishop (Kathleen) of Villa Hills, KY; his close friend Jim Duffy (Donna) of Owensboro; and also JoRita of Tell City, IN.

The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of Mass stipends given at the Parish or Religious Institution of the donor's choice, offered for the repose of Larry's soul; or to the Cody Brahm Memorial Scholarship Fund, 1309 Winkelreid Street, Tell City, IN 47586.
