He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Garner and Sarah E. Bishop Garner; and his sister Judy Garner. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Garner; his children, Jerry Garner (Becky) of Owensboro, Kim Schmitt (Mike) of Philpot and Jeff Crabtree (Liz) of Owensboro; and his grandchildren, Burke Garner of Prestonburg, KY, Alex Garner (Alley) of Prestonburg, KY, Bobby Garner of Owensboro, Lindzey Trogdon (Tyson) of Owensboro, Andrew Schmitt of Philpot, Emma Schmitt of Philpot and Zack Crabtree (Jodie) of Owensboro. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
