He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hill and Anna "Sue" Barrentine Hill; his sister Becki Hill Judd; his niece Shelly Hill; his mother-in-law Jane Petri; and his brother-in-law Kelly Wheeler.

He is survived by: his wife Julia Ann Hill; his children, Lacie Hill, Lindsey "Pooh" Burden (Robert) and Logan Hill; his grandchildren, Evan Burden and Emilia Burden; his nieces, Misty Hill Summitt (Kevin) and April Owens (Todd); his nephew Nick Judd (Brittney); and his father-in-law Charles Petri, III. He is also survived by numerous cousins and great-nieces and great nephews; his close friends.
