He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cain and Sadie Barker Cain; his wife Mavis Isbill Cain; and his siblings, Ruth, Rose and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Cain (Darlena Mattingly) of Owensboro and Diana Ellis (Keith) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Laura Thompson, Brandon Ellis and Chelsea Ellis; his great grandchildren, Michaela Thompson, Hannah Jo Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson; and his siblings, Lima Wells (Kenton) of Ohio County, Reba Cain (Miles) of Tampa, Will Cain (Linda) of Versailles and Ella Ellis of Indianapolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
