Kathleen Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Smith (Owensboro, Kentucky), who passed away on June 8, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sylvester Benson and Laura Mauck Benson; her husband Frederick M. Smith; and her brother Herbert A. "Brownie" Gottfried. She is survived by: her sons, George Smith (Crystal) and Schuyler Smith (Susan); her grandchildren, Alex Shain (Anna), Olivia Shain, Lenlee Haase (Adam), Laurel Vanhooser (Stephen), Tori Phelps, Austin Phelps (Bree), Kathleen "Katie" Smith and Rebecca Smith; her great grandchildren, Adalynn Haase and Aunika Haase; and her sister Sylvia Benson Frank (Todd) of Gulf Breeze, FL.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
