He is survived by: his children, Mike Thomas of Owensboro, Dan Thomas (Darlene) of Owensboro, Theresa Ambs (Kenny) of Owensboro and Cathy Hardy (Barry) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Lauren Thomas, Jillian Gainous (Jared), Reid Thomas (Sarah), Hillary Thomas, Abby Vogt (Anthony), Katie Tyler (Mazden), Josh Thomas, Eric Thomas-Pate, Steven Ambs (Anna), David Ambs, Jeffrey Ambs, William Henness (Megan) and Rachel Henness; and his siblings, Bob Thomas, Martina Blandford, Evelyn Mattingly (Jim) and Sue Thomas. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
