He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond I. Bowlds and Benitta Bowlds (Nettie Sweeney); his wife Dorothy Bowlds (Clark); and his sister Cecilia Bowlds of Owensboro. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Smith (Bob) of Newburgh Indiana, Patty Nixon (Greg) of Newburgh Indiana and Judy Townsend (Jim); and his grandchildren, Jason Smith (Amanda), Jenna Donovan (Kevin), Anna Michelle Smith, Hannah Small (Josh), Rachel Cloutier (Chase), Ryan Fruit, Katelyn Jones (Ethan), Matthew Townsend, Peter Townsend and John Townsend.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Parish (2516 Christie Pl, Owensboro, KY 42301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
