He is survived by: his wife Sharon Morgan Porter; his daughter Natasha Hulsey; his grandchildren, Bethany Westerfield, Amanda Hulsey and Christopher Sallee; and his siblings, Teresa Gomez (Salvador), Larry Porter (Bobbie), Mark Porter, Mary Jo Wathen (Dwight) and Frankie Porter (Betty Jean "B. J."). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
