He was predeceased by: his father G. Allen Hicks; and his brother George A. Hicks, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Becky Hicks; his children, Jennifer Slone (Todd), Byron Hicks (April), Brandie Colebrooke (Obadiah) and Dustin Hicks (Kelly); and his siblings, Judy, Georgetta, Donna, Rosie, Frankie and Lee. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
