He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Blandford and Janie Raley Blandford of Waverly, KY.; his wife Helen Rosita Simmons Blandford; and his children, James Douglas Blandford and Jo Anne Blandford.
He is survived by: his children, Stephana Zeleznik (Jack), Karen Adams (Dan) of Ft. Thomas, KY and Dick Blandford (Cindy) of Union, KY; and his grandchildren, Stacy Frank (Andy), Adam Blandford (Jamie), Adrienne and Madeline Adams. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
