Jonell Reisz left this world on April 9, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Reisz and Edna Henning Reisz; her husband Gilbert R. Mischel, Sr.; and her siblings, Norman, Otto Reisz, Sue Betts-Prew and Peggy Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Gilbert R. Mischel, Jr. of Louisville, Brenda Jo Barton, Deborah Mischel of Mary, Mischel of Owensboro, Lisa Tinnell (Nick) of Owensboro, Kathy Hayden of Owensboro, Suzanne Shown (Bobby) of Owensboro and Rebecca Cecil (Tony) of Louisville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (7232 KY-56, Owensboro, KY 42301).
