He is survived by: his children, John W. Davis Jr. (Harlene), Rebecca D. Long (Bill), Glen "Smokey" Davis (Sheila) and Kenneth R. Davis (Debbie); and his sisters, Ernestine "Tina" Boone and Velma Carter. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
