He is survived by: his children, Shawntaya Marie Alvey and Mary Danielle Alvey; his grandchildren, Sierra Philpot and Austin Philpot; and his siblings, Bobby, Andrew Alvey and Debbie Alvey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
