He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Chandler and Flossie Rickard Chandler; his wife Opal Chandler; his son Adrian Chandler; and his sister Darlene White.

He is survived by: his children, Dana Cundiff (Steve), Tracy Hamilton (Tina) and Derrick Chandler; his sister Gloria Yeiser (Stan); and his niece Shelia Burley. He is also survived by 9 grand-children and a whole host of loving great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
