John Philip Hornsby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Philip Hornsby of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hornsby and Martha Hornsby (Simon); his wife Margaret "Ellen" Hornsby (Bowlds); and his sisters, Martha Jean Stallings Bradley and Mary Louise Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Moseley (Jeff) and Amy Glover (Jason); his grandchildren, Alisha Glover, Ava Glover, Anna Glover and Lincoln Moseley; his great grandchildren, Amaryllis and Anastasia Moseley; his siblings, Jimmy Hornsby, Judy Gist (Terry) and Joey Hornsby; his caregivers, Andrea Spence and Heather Stallings; and his friend Billy McBride. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and his special nieces.
