We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2024, at the age of 69, John M. Sims Jr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Lebanon, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Melvin Sims, Sr. and Mary Jean Ebelhar Sims; and his sister Rose J. Bartlett. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Bumm; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Kassinger (Dale), Karen Bumm (Tim Roach), Jason Hawkins and Brandon Hawkins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathen's Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
