He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Joseph Mulligan, Harold Mulligan, Suzetta Elbehar, Geraldine Simmons, Marian Mattingly, Mildred Timbrook and Frances Boswell O'Bryan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Dant Mulligan; his children, John Mulligan, Jr. of Owensboro, Bob Mulligan (Ann) of Owensboro, Bernie Mulligan (Vicki) of Owensboro, Kathy Jenny (Tom) of Owensboro and Jenny Bacon (Greg) of Owensboro; and his sisters, Ruth Ann Hardy of Owensboro, Mary Jane Alexander of Owensboro and Martha Jean Kaufield (Jim) of Owensboro. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
