He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Atkinson Ewing; his children, Holly McGuire (Sean) of La Grange, Jennifer Ewing, Amanda Ewing of Owensboro, Jeff Smith (Kim) and Johnny A. Ewing (Sara); his stepchildren, Mark Atkinson (Jeannie) of Nashville, TN, Holly Bemis (David) of Algonquin, IL and Sarah Kiser (Brent) of Severna Park, MD.; his grandchildren, Lance, Brandon, Skyler, Alec, Luke, Addie, Chloe, Lillian, Porter, Austin, John, Graham and Elizabeth; and his great grandchildren, Eli, Aniyah and Ariyah.
