It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Taylor of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nichols and Kate Nichols (Chandler); her husband Morris D. Taylor; and her siblings, Juanita Winn, Lorene Armijo, Judy Ford, Emma Jean James and Mack Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Morris Taylor of Richmond, David Taylor (Colleen) of Owensboro, Kentucky and Margaret Ann Morgan (Keith) of Castaic, California; her brother James Donald Nichols (Joyce) of Scottsburg, Indiana; and her grandchildren, George Nathan Taylor (Kimberly), Emily M. Taylor, Jeffrey Keith Morgan and Cody Morgan. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to the Madison County Friends of the Library in c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
