He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin Thompson and Margie Davis Frost; his grandson Chandler Dewayne Jones; his stepfather Charles Frost; and his brothers, Tommy Thompson and Don Thompson.
He is survived by: his significant other Judy Layman Thompson; his children, Jeff Thompson (Kristie), Keith Jones, Rick Jones (Jill), Scott Thompson (Natalie), Tracy Leeper, Crystal Stevens and Dylan Thompson Stevens (Elysha); his grandchildren, Cassie, Skyler, Joey, Chelsea, Christian, Kailee, Erika, Madison, Blake, Maddie, Natalie, Mandy, Zoe and Zac; and his daughters, Christine Robinson, Samantha Williams and Taylor Huehls. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
