He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert "E. V." Dillard and Nancy Mae Robertson Dillard; his wife Janet Davis Dillard; and his siblings, J. V. Dillard, Ellen Smith, Irene Burt, Louise Odell, Mary Lou Tacker and Betty Reynolds.
He is survived by: his sons, Davis Dillard (Valerie) and Brandon Dillard (Kelly); his grandchildren, Cara Dillard, Michael Dillard (Kaity), Matthew Rigsby, Kelsey Rigsby, Christian Dillard and Mark Dillard; and his great grandchildren, Kiah Hill, Kaiden Hill, Krue Warner and Madelynn Jo Dillard.
