She was predeceased by: her father Phillip Walls; her siblings, Mary Alice Johnson and Phillip Walls; her sons, Darrin and Tyrone Howard; and her great grandchild Ryan Matthew.
She is survived by: her husband James T Howard; her children, Lolita Scott, Marian "Baybay" Leachman and Jermaine Howard (Linda); her brother Hamadi Walls; and her son-in-law Michael Leachman. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
