He was predeceased by: his parents, Atlas Dukes and Marie Dukes (Boley); his former wife Dezester Jean Evans Dukes; his daughter Brenda Jean Lutz; and his sister Katherine Lemaster.
He is survived by: his son Steven Dean Dukes (Janet) of Owensboro; his stepchildren, Theresa Humphrey (Martin) of Owensboro and Charles Thomas Pierce (Erma Lee) of Owensboro; and his grandchildren, Danielle Overfield (Roger), Julie Christine Miller (Donald O'Bryan), Amy Dukes (Josh), Ashley Hofmann (Josh) and Eric Dukes.
