He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rhodes and Ora Mae Rhodes; his wife Patricia Rhodes; and his children, Carolyn Hammond and David Rhodes.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Gosnell (Mark), Lori Keim (Wally), Ruth Royals (Rick), Gerry Rhodes and Jesse Rhodes Jr. (Diane); and his brothers, Dyril Rhodes (Ollie) and Gerald Rhodes (Roberta). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
