He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Tyler, Jr. and Ollievet Trice Tyler James; his stepfather LeRoy James; and his siblings, Terry Tyler and Annetta Tyler.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Babbage of Delray Beach, FL and Princess Wimsatt of Evansville, IN; his grandson Connor Babbage; his siblings, Roy Tyler, III (Janie) of Hopkinsville, KY, Daris "Geno" Tyler (Geneva) of Owensboro, KY, Donnie Tyler of Owensboro, KY, Kenneth Higgs (Jill) of Owensboro, KY, Sue Hanley (Jerry), Pauletta Rascoe (Norris) of Hopkinsville, KY, Jonita McNeely of Indianapolis, IN, Virginia Glover (Malcom) of Indianapolis, IN, LaTasha Gant (Kerry) of Indianapolis, IN and Viola Guynn (James) of Columbus, GA; and his friend LuAnna Hunt. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives.
