He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Basham and Martine Mayfield Basham; and his siblings, Betty Smith, Brenda Taylor and Tommy Basham.

He is survived by: his wife Lois J. Basham; and his children, Teri Decker, Cindy Hall and Danny Basham.
